TruBit Pro now offers new security verification methods with Trade PIN and Passkey, allowing users to set up according to their phone models. Currently, Android phones or iPhone with iOS < 16 support Trade PIN + Google Authenticator, while iPhone with iOS ≥ 16 can use both Passkey and Trade PIN + Google Authenticator.
How to set up Trade PIN
On the App homepage, click the avatar icon in the top left corner.
Select 'Security' and click on 'Trade PIN'.
Create your Trade PIN.
Enter the email verification code and Google Authenticator code.
Congratulations! Your Trade PIN has been created.
Notes：
- You can withdraw funds normally after setting up the Trade PIN for the first time.
- The Trade PIN cannot be in simple/reverse order, and the same number should not appear more than 2 times.
- If you want to change the Trade PIN afterwards, there will be a 24-hour period to ensure your account security. During this period, withdrawal function will be disabled.
How to set up Passkey
On the App homepage, click the avatar icon in the top left corner.
Select 'Security' and click on 'Passkeys'.
Enter the email verification code and Google Authenticator code.
In the create passkey pop-up, enable your iCloud Keychain.
The passkey will be generated, after which you can use it for secure verification without entering password.
Notes:
- Before setting up, please ensure your iPhone system version is iOS 16 or above.
- Before setting up, please ensure your TruBit Pro app is upgraded to v3.5.1 or above.
