One-Way Mode
You can only hold positions at one address under a contract.
For example:
If you open a short position and anticipate that the price will go down over a longer period of time, but you also want to open a long position for a shorter period of time, you will not be able to open positions in both directions at the same time since opening positions in both directions would cancel each other out.
Follow the instructions to activate One - Way Mode:
Within the Perpetual Contracts screen, locate the Preferences button (right side of the screen).
Click the Preferences button.
Select One-Way Mode.
Once you have selected it, you will see an activation success alert on the screen.
Hedge Mode
In Hedge mode, you can hold positions in both long and short directions at the same time under the same contract.
For example:
You can be long and short the BTCUSDT contract at the same time.
Follow the instructions to activate Hedge Mode:
Within the Perpetual Contracts screen, Locate the Preferences button (right side of the screen).
Click the Preferences button.
Select Hedge mode.
Once you have selected it, you will see an activation success alert on the screen..

One-way Mode
Follow the instructions to activate One - Way Mode:
Within the Perpetual Contracts screen by default, the One-Way Mode is selected,
If the screen will show Hedge Mode, you must press this button and tap One Way Mode and tap Confirm to change the mode.
Once you have pressed confirm , you will see the mode change on the screen.
Hedge Mode
Follow the instructions to activate Hedge Mode:
Within the Perpetual Contracts screen, locate One - Way Mode. (upper right side of the screen), tap this button.
Tap Coverage Mode and tap Confirm.
Once you have pressed the confirm button, you will see the mode change on the screen.
