How to update my Google Authenticator?

To make the change of the Google Authenticator, you must follow the following steps:

  1. Enter the TruBit App and log in with your account. 

  2. Tap the Me icon at the bottom right.

  3. Tap the Security option.

  4. Within the Security screen, select the Google Authenticator option.

  5. Immediately, it will show you that you already have the Google Authenticator registered, tap Rebind, then you must scan the QR code or copy and paste the code into the Google Authenticator app, tap Next step.

  6. Next you will see the Google Authenticator screen where you must generate three (3) validation codes to complete the change:

    a. Select Send in the email verification code field, then select in order the images that

    the application presents to you, Tap Accept, a code will be sent to your email.

    b. Then enter the old google authenticator code.

    c. Now enter the new google authenticator verification code and tap Submit.

  7. Finally, the application will show you a message indicating that the Google authenticator was successfully registered.

NOTE: Remember that when you reset your Google Authenticator for security reasons, you will not be able to make movements within your account for 24 hours.
